Seaweed is not for sushi only.  Kelp is the best natural source of trace minerals. It is also a good source of protein and a rich source of iodine and iron, iodine is important for the proper functioning of thyroid and iron is important for blood cell function.

  1. Just beware of where it is harvested. Wouldn't want to get it from the Gulf of Mexico (or the southern end of the Eastern Seaboard, for that matter), would we...?
